Current Work of 2026
I'm currently a student at Mt. Hood Community College, pursuing dual Associate of Applied Science degrees in Integrated Media: Video and Business Management: Accounting. Through my coursework, I've developed skills in filmmaking, storytelling, photography, and visual media production while also building a strong foundation in business operations and management. The projects featured here represents my latest work completed during my time at MHCC and reflects my continued growth as a Native American storyteller dedicated to sharing authentic stories through film and visual media.
NDN CAR
Inspired by the song NDN KARS by Keith Secola, this story follows a Native woman trying to make it to the powwow—by fixing up her late husband’s car to get there. This is my third project in the Integrated Media: Video program at Mt. Hood Community College. Our goal was to take what we’ve learned in story and ideation, along with digital filmmaking techniques, and create a short narrative film. We were given two and a half weeks to produce a 2–4 minute story. As a Native American student, I want to represent my culture from multiple perspectives—reservation to city life, physical to spiritual, and the many ways Native people continue to thrive. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to watch. Your support means a lot—and helps that 12-year-old version of me keep chasing the dream of creating films.

Self-Portrait
This video was created during my second term of first year in Integrated Media for Video Production. The assignment was to produce a self-portrait without directly showing myself on camera, challenging us to communicate identity through storytelling rather than physical presence. By limiting my appearance to only a few selective shots and avoiding direct address to the camera, I focused on visual narrative to reflect who I am as a creator. This piece explores how Just 2 Deadly ignited my passion and drive to create art, shaping both my creative process and personal growth.

Spiritually Connected
My first project at Mt. Hood Community College came after I made the decision to return to my true passion—creating videos and telling stories through film.
This project is exclusive to my personal website and has not been published anywhere else. It holds a special place in my heart because it was created during a period when I was experiencing some of the most difficult months of my life. I struggled with sleepless nights and often felt completely alone.
Through reconnecting with my culture, teachings, family, and friends, I began to find my way forward. Along that journey, I was reminded of something our people have always known: we are never truly alone. Our ancestors—the Star People—continue to watch over us and walk beside us every day.
This project reflects that journey of healing, cultural reconnection, and finding strength in the people and teachings that have guided me throughout my life.
